Conservatory student Ori Hullinger has been with the Gifted Music School for 11 years. This painting is meant to illustrate their appreciation for music through the vibrant colors and thick paint surrounding the canvas. It's based off a picture Ori took when the sun hit their piano in a gorgeous way.
Artist Statement: “I have been studying with Dr. Whitney Pizza and have recently begun studying with Dr. Koji Attwood. I was accepted in the Conservatory four years ago, and I have loved every minute of it. The community at GMS has always been one I’ve cherished, and I wanted to give back to it by painting what my love for piano feels like.”
